The Trial of David Gecht

David Gecht was convicted of attempted murder, aggravated kidnapping and deviant assaults for the attack on Beverly Washington in 1983. His three accomplices were Edward Spritzer, Andrew Coca-Rellis and Thomas Coca-Rllis. They drove their kidnap victims from off the street to a motel where they would mutilate them before eating them raw as part of a satanic ritual. Judge Francis J. Mahalen told Gecht not even animal would do these things, only a devil or a monster would. He was sentenced to 120 years in prison.
