In general, china appearsa most sympathetic to putin recent measures to raise the alert levels of its nuclear foces and to conduct to nuclear exercises. So it was not that particularly alarmed by putins newcrseber rightfully. As i said, they think putin is acting rationally and simply in a self defensive manner. They don't think there is a serious risk of nuclear ascullation. And maybe that's contributing to china's less sense of urgency in doing everything to end the war as soon as before it further ascalates.
