What's Happening to Your Metabolism When You Start Losing Weight?
There's eight world research pathways that kick into gear when you start losing weight and again remember this is why they're failing their body shuts down. Your metabolism will lower but there's a further drop which we can't account for and it's about 15 percent so your body or may be basal metabolic rate will start at one level say two thousand calories it'll then go up to six hundred by the end of the diet. We take samples from our patients, put them in imaging machines, DEXA where we can measure body composition taking blood samples and see what's happening to their appetite hormones as they're losing weight.
