The Atlantic's David Frum says the Durban report is underwhelming. The FBI overreacted to available information about Trump-Russia connections and should have moved more cautiously before advancing to the next phase of investigation, he writes. Durham settles into a long bill of grievances against the FBI but does not engage with the material in the report. He goes on to conclude that specialist in the law and practice of counterintelligence can argue whether Durham had correctly interpreted the appropriate modalities of FBI procedure.
