I want my investing to deliver a certain rate of return, cash flow with modest appreciation. I'm appalled at the paucity of experience of some of these people that are good salespeople but don't have the chops to manage these types of investments. There's a lot of skill that goes in that is not academic based. You could learn whatever you want in school, but you're not going to understand how to run a company just because you've got an MBA.
