Many of the people who focused on election denial many of whom were recruited by President Trump because he demanded that put the Republican Party in jeopardy. January 6 was a tragic day but thanks to the courage of Capitol Hill police federal officials we quelled the violence and Republicans and Democrats reconvened on the very same day. And so I've made it very clear what my view was of the rhetoric both before that tragic day and the rhetoric that's followed. We literally had many in certain arteries of the mainstream media propagating what came to be a completely baseless allegation of collusion with the foreign powers or questioning the legitimacy of our elections.
