Introduction
One year ago this week, Joe Biden signed something called the inflation reduction act. It ultimately had nothing to do with inflation as Mr. Biden now acknowledges himself. And instead, it had everything to do with changing the way that we power the U.S. The new clean green stuff would drive down our carbon dioxide emissions by at least 40% and ultimately reverse climate change. But in the midst of all those claims made both a year ago and even still being the last couple of weeks, there was and is still a problem.
