Anihilism and the Large Hadron Collider

The physicist is a member of the Atlas experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. His main research program, when he's not goofing off doing podcasts or other projects, is an annihilating proton to the LHC. He says smashing these things together "is one thing that you can learn how things work" In the end, what we're trying to do is pull them apart; it's like using tweezers.
