The Vote of No Confidence

Tiberius tries to accommodate his enemies. He refers matters to the senate, but they are dominated by the landowners. And he keeps saying to octavius, all right, i you sure you want a veto because this is going to happen. In the end, he's sort of begging and crying. But tiberius has been driven to the point where he's going to deprive octavius of his tribunat. This is often represented in kind of shorthand as he threw him out of office.
