The plan for the alpha label is essentially to be a very strong signal about our internal security posture, and confidence in the state of the system. We aren't expecting, for example, there to be this journey through the Greek alphabet of like, now we're alpha, now we are in beta. It's really more, once this, as long as this alpha label is attached to the system, this is meant to kind of imply that we're in this early phase where there are these trust assumptions.

Alex Gluchowski is the Co-founder and CEO of Matter Labs and the creator of zkSync. Anthony Rose is the head of engineering at Matter Labs and has a background in software and machine learning. Prior to joining Matter Labs, Anthony spent a number of years in the industry building teams at SpaceX.
