Is There a Difference Between Estimating and Estimating?
Jeffrey Toobin: I would have often found to be just a tremendously valuable activity. So you could hold the estimation session and have this fantastic discussion, then burn all the estimates. But it's not the estimate, it's the estimating, that it's the act of generating the estimate among the team. And when you feel that those gut feels are far apart, that's such an efficient way to check in with people on their sense of what's happening.
