The German Torpedo Boats at the Battle of Jutland
Two destroyers a torpedo s were both armed wot six torpedo tubes each. The german doctrine was more o their small boats to get in amongst larger warships and use them for torpedo attacks. How many german ships survived from the battle of jutland? They were all scrapped or sunk in the intermarriors. So there's not very many examples left, certainly above tide. This is tangible evidence of that battle where you ad least expect it. In the middle of portsmouth harbor. An incredible historical sleuthing. And to day is the icing on the cake, because we think we might be able to identify which one was, which exactly theer.
