Tulbert says he relied too heavily on the endorsements of others to make his decision. The prosecution tried to discredit tulbert, saying he'd done little actual due diligence before investing millions in thernos. A veteran venture capital investor said it's unfathomable that an investor wouldn't back up endorsements like this with actual due diligence. He thinks thernos would have been on to this.
