There's a reason why I don't think sensible people want the government running steel mills or they want the government to own the farms. The markets are a pretty effective way of getting incentives aligned, of inducing people to do stuff that works. So the invisible hand is an important part, but there's nothing mystical about it. This is one way to organize stuff that happens to have broad but not universal application.
