Are We Producing More Corn Than We Used To?
In the seventies, eighties, we started putting corn and everything. They developed high fruit dose corn syrup as this cheaper form of sweetenings. When that were sweetening everything with corn, so basily we became like a mono crop country. And that's whe we started getting this like avalanche of process foods. It is actually true, and quite easy to measure, that we're producing more corn because it's like agricultural statistics s then 60 % of america's corn is fed to live stock. So it's not necessarily that all the corn, like, went to human consumption. A lot of that corn went into bio fuels and stuff that is not food.
