The Doctrine of Suffering
I love our country and I know the susceptibility that would be associated with this because I want our country to be preserved too. But there is a proper way to handle every trial we face as a believer. Jesus Christ has given us the model, the recipe for it. Paul the Apostle is going to teach us what is called the doctrine of suffering. He is going to train us in rejoicing even when we are in a prison cell. God turns all things for good for those that love him and are called according to his purpose.
