"If you want to be worthy of following me, you must take up your cross," Jesus said. "That is what you must do with the greatest story that's ever been told." The most horrific image imaginable has become the greatest image of hope the world has ever known. If God can take a man writhing in agony on a cross and change that image to be a powerful image of good and hope then he can do it with anything.
