Lizzie McGee to Charles Dano
Lizzie McGee introduced the game to a Quaker community in Delaware. It was found attractive particularly by an economics professor called Scott Nearing. He used it as a means of teaching his economic students about capitalism and land properties. The original board which Lizzie McGee I think designed and produced herself still exists. So at that time during the teens of the last century, it was being played by a lot of Quaker communities throughout North America.
