Reporting on Immigrants in North Carolina

The Asian American and Pacific Islander ethnicity is the largest, fastest growing in North Carolina. But as far as the immigrant population, it's nearly one third of all immigration coverage. So newsrooms aren't doing their due diligence to understand communities that they're reporting on. And how do you get around that by doing neutral reporting, but reporting on all demographics?
