The relationship of the British Isles to the continent of Europe. Everything that flowed from that in terms of the British history and the history of British strategy If you then zoom out and look at the world map There is something about America and North America in particular and its relation to Eurasia That seems strikingly similar. All three really do want an engaged United States one that recognizes that partnerships are beneficial And frankly the best way to win a war or survivor contest is to get your friends to do it for you.
