HLTA stands for a higher level teaching assistant. Legal differences is that HLTA's are allowed to look after a class by themselves. They get a tiny bit about more money for the pleasure in terms of my kind of experiences, not much actually. In my current school, we kind of only have one HLTA who is kind of only used for those kind of cover aspects,. which I know was going to be an interesting contrast to Lloyd’s whole kind of school improvement model.
