Margarita's Story

Margarita was part of a clandestine mission called operacion pedro on. Between 19 60 and 19 62, the programm er lifted more than 14 thousand children from cuba to the united states. It was organized by the us Government and the catholic church in m Miami. Many Cubans feared repression on the island, so they sent their kids away, hoping to be reunited later.
