Is the Lord's Law for the Nazarites?

Samson, Samuel and John the Baptist are all Nazarites. Is there any significance to that? Well, it seems to me that in the case of Samuel, his mother is responding with particular gratitude to the Lord because the Lord opened her womb. With Samson, I think that the author of Judges shows him transgressing every aspect of the vow. And then with John the Baptist, I think he comes as the Elijah forerunner of the coming of the Lord.
