Every month, we ask a writer to choose a story from the magazine's archives to read and discuss. A Day was chosen by Jean-Paul l'Hiri, whose short stories have been appearing in the New Yorker since 1998. The story is about a day in the life of a housewife who finds out her husband has another woman.
