The Importance of Significance Testing
The intuition here is that if I can make 7% with buy and hold, I just simply have to do two transactions to access that in the most simple. It takes also none of my time, none of my research. If I'm going to actively trade, then I deserve to be paid for my efforts. So how likely is it that there's an actual difference? There are ways that that's a pretty complicated question,. But there are well-established ways that again, you know, anybody with high school math and the desire to learn can absolutely learn that and many of you had this in school.
