Is a Good Model Just a Bad Model?

A good model takes a complex subject and organizes it makes it simple. A bad model is the inverse of that. It's trying to make the simple look complex. But when you peer in, you see well organized complexity. That can only be organized by somebody who has truly been there and mapped the territory.
