The Restoring Promises Unit

The Restoring Promises Unit is just one experimental cell block of about 60 men in the state's entire prison system. State officials say they're still evaluating how this unit's doing before deciding whether or not to expand it. For their part, the Vera Institute of Justice says they think half the state's prison population would do well in a similar environment.
