The Future of the Movement Is in Social Media

How much of a responsibility do social media sites have to curb misinformation and online extremism? And what role does government policy play in this? This is again, a really hard question. I struggled with it especially, for instance, when Twitter started banning people in the wake of the 2020 election for election disinformation. It's not something that they are equipped to do.
