The Bible was intended to be read in ways that I, well, what I describe is circular. We're not just going to read it one time. It is going to be meditative. And my own personal life, I'd like to think that I could work on my stuff that happened to me when I was 17 or 25 and like, thank you. Now I'm done with that. But the reality is that our brokenness is so deeply and mysteriously thorough that I have little idea how much work I have to do.
