What's Going on at the Post Office?

The post office has been in a budget crisis since the 1980s. People are not sending mail anymore for obvious internet related reasons. The postal service is supposed to be operating in business, but it can't actually set its own prices. Now that there's so much less mailed and there used to be, the Postal Service has been lobbying for years to have five days a week of deliveries which would help tremendously.
