The Right Often Gets a Free Pass on This
John Milbank says that the left and right are tacitly in agreement with each other about this sort of liberation of the individual. The reason it's slightly more obfuscated on the right is because the right tends to, well, it just does much more emphasize the values of family or religion. So the right often gets a free pass. But I think Marx is correct to say, if you have economic liberalism, it will destroy all of these structures anyway.
