The Grandfather Paradox of Time Travel
Curved space is just kind of where the shortest distance between two points isn't necessarily a straight line exactly. The grandfather paradox states that if you were to go back in time you could kill your own grandfather thus preventing yourself from having been born and preventing yourself from being able to going back in time to kill your father. It creates the logical conundrum of um you know if x then y but then if y not x exactly it's and so on.
