Aquinas' Understanding of Pleasure
Aquinas: Pleasure is not a thing that you can aim at. When you do something well, then there's a kind of pleasure that arises from it. Emmanuel Kant did not really have a very positive sense of pleasure. But for Aquinas, actually pleasure is linked to right action and to happiness.
