The Turn of the Screw
King Henry James lifted this fairly simple convention into something absolutely masterful. We will need to spend some time with the turn of the screw. Maybe we'll save that for another time. It is a you will tide story after all. Here you go kids. Kids well for the kids will have bright wrapping paper and toys and gadgets, but we grown ups are going to stay up late this Christmas drinking something warm and pleasant and tell some stories to frightening for children.
