Introduction

Professor Todashi Tokieda is known for his whimsical videos involving what he calls toys. These are everyday household items like rubber bands or paper clips, which he uses to explain deep fundamental concepts. He's also a true polymath, an expert on languages whose world travels have given him a unique insight on the world. I joined Todashi at sunset by the swimming pool in his backyard and we chatted over a glass of wine.
