The Unacceptably Poor Lives of Autistic Australian’s (Senate Report on Autism)
My Friend Autism
The Train Wreck You Don't Want to Hear
Autistic people in Australia have a life expectancy more than 20 years shorter than the general population. Autistic people experience high rates of co-occurring mental health conditions and are more likely to attempt or commit suicide than other groups. This comes an enormous personal, social, and economic cost. If you or someone you know needs help, please reach out to organizations within your region. They are there to help you and you deserve help. Can you imagine? Here I am. An autistic guy, an autistic dad, an autistic husband. I sit down to read a Senate report findings on autism. What do you think that makes me feel? You can search it yourself. Find it online yourself.
