The real reason for the us massive military investment has to do with high tech manufacturing. i don't think russia was always a constraint on western power and china is more than happy to blow off uh u.s dictates whenever it doesn't suit them. These these powers are not going away and that's going to have to and they're not being integrated as subordinates in a us led system.
