For our october book club pick, we went with revenge, 11 dark tales by yoko agaa. It was originally published in 19 98 in japan and translated and published in the us. Ogaba's writing is descriptive, but sparse, like she can really paint a picture and bill dread by grafting only a few sentences together. The stories are, in parts, bizarre, unsettling, meta fictional. And they are nected. Towards the end, it gets wilder and wilder.
