The idea that improbable events occur they in fact happen a lot. They connect Bible codes and mutual funds. The financial version of this comes from what are called incubator funds. If you have two hundred chances you definitely are going to find one of those things that beats the market by a substantial amount five years in a row. It's improbable that a few that a fund would do that unless there was something to it.
