Is China Taking a Page Out of Xi's Playbook With Our Own Industrial Policy?
Gina Romondo, the U.S. commerce secretary, talks to CNN's Richard Quest about China and immigration. She says America is able to compete effectively with China despite Beijing's industrial policy. But she adds that it isn't a foregone conclusion that any particular company will receive a certain amount of money. Do we need more high-skilled workers in this country to properly compete? Right now you can simply apply for immigrant status without having a company sponsoring him.
