Risk is always gonna happen. There's no such thing as setting off to do something important that doesn't have risk. Just having risk should not be a sign that something is wrong, quite the contrary. If you think ahead of time on how you incrementally de-risk as you go through, then as you progress, you have more information and can predict when you're gonna be able to deliver.
