Tory Leadership

Some of those who could succeed boris johnson have had little or nothing to do with the debate around protocol. That's maybe fine as far as westminster politics is concerned, but it matters a lot to people in northern ireland. Nobody will want to look weak on n either on the eu, or on the union - both of which issues animate tory m ps under substantial number ofat is. Even if there were candidates who probably wouldn't have tabled the protocol bill, there's no one who's going to pull it right? i think that any one who wins the tory leadership is going to be committed to the bill, unless they can get substantial concession.
