Is There a Future for Aging Research?
The breakthroughs in extending human health and longevity are not going to come from the laboratory animals, he says. I think they're ging to coming from the animals who can fight off the ravages of aging better than humans already. A house sparrow lives 20 years, up to 20 years in the wild. But we have no clue as to how they do it. And i think with all the modern technology that we have now, i think we really could figure it out,. maybe use that knowledge to develop novel therapies for for people.
