There's a great chance the trial is delayed from the May date. I don't think this specific superseding part will be the reason it's delayed. There are limits to the Department of Justice's arm twisting powers, very limited. The problem is the government's pretty big and a special counsel is only a small part of how quickly the CIPA process goes.
