The Importance of Handymanship

My dad is very handy. He can fix a lot of things around the house on his own and he's really like the proof of what a person is capable of doing by themselves without calling an expert or needing help. I have many many memories of watching my dad work around the house and he always fixed problems whenever they arose. i want to be able to fix things and be that kind of father at home for my children however i'm not that at this point but hopefully i can learn these skills a little bit more in the future and be alittle bit more like my dad so i really appreciate that about him.
