The Parasocial Relationship Between Cable News and the Economy

Gia: Cable news exists for a reason. It's consumer focused. And I think what's going on, it's interesting at CNN is, well, stuff isn't working. People really like food fights. There's a reason that people slow down at traffic accidents. They like it. What I worry about is that the audience doesn't want that. But when people are looking at how they're going to be informed and interacting with the news, I think there's a big opening for someone like News Nation to be there.
