The Linear Development of Latin Music

Makarena came after kanga if you think about it. It's not an unexpected track i can't imagine that anybody thought this was going to happen right could you write about the city of Miami at the time? The song just feels random and out of nowhere, like just standing outside the flow of linear time. Does makarena blowing up in 1995 and 96 specifically make any sense to you?
