The Paradox of Looking Up

Most of you are busy looking down. You're trying to make it a better place in which to live. If you have more than someone else you're feeling subtle guilt. There's a whole set of dynamics connected with looking down and out on the suffering. Because all forms have suffering in them because they're all in time and space. And so many people say the spiritual trip is escapism but that doesn't get you home free. To get home free requires the power and strength of being to be able to simultaneously look up and see total perfection and look down and see incredible suffering.
