Miss Everything

I wanted the viewer to be in direct eye contact of the figure and the painting but then I also wanted to let go of being looked at at the same time. The title is Miss Everything but parenthetically there's another title it's Unsuppressed Deliverance. So the painting is about for me letting go. Letting go of the gays and I think the gays is something that I really heavily considered when I first started making these paintings because I wanted to make it happen. That level of self-awareness once you tap into it as a child it never leaves you. And it's left her. She doesn't care anymore.
