Short Form Content

YouTube is thinking about allowing people to link to any videos, like stories. We want to make it easy for creators that are investing a lot of creativity and energy in their long form videos to package up a short from that. And when you do that, and you publish that short, it's a new video ID under the hood, but it links back to the long form video. So we want to empower creators to do this themselves and actually have the link.
